The bears are made of carved ironwood from the Southwest and the style is so minimalist and timeless, as to also fall into the Danish Modern/MCM Mid Century category of design. The grain of the wood is stunning and the substantial weight of each bear is surprising given the size, but I imagine that it’s the reason it was dubbed “Ironwood”. Each hand carved bear measures (in inches)- LENGTH: 7 WIDTH: 2 HEIGHT: 5 Feel free to message me with any questions or for additional photos.
